Lockhart, TX
A Lockhart legacy — Kreuz Market brings the smoke with over a century of flavor. Our world-famous Texas BBQ is smoked to perfection over our post oak wood-fired pits. Today, we still prepare prized cuts of meat the same way we have for generations. Tradition has never tasted so good. Let's eat!
Lockhart, TX
My dad, Edgar A. "Smitty" Schmidt, started working for the Kreuz family at the age of 13. He bought Kreuz Market in 1848. My family and I grew up at this pit. Today our family still tends that same fire in that same 1924 building at Smitty's Market in downtown Lockhart. We invite you to drop by! ~Nina Schmidt Sells
